Title: Money Hungry

Pgs. 62-165

Summary: So far a lot of bad things happen in my book. Raspberry money is gone, she living in the steerts, and maybe she is getting pay back. Raspberry mother throw all of her money out the window. She did that because Raspberry leaded Mia some money. Mia took some money from her grandfather and she had to get it back. So Mia got the money from Raspberry. Now this is the part that makes the story hot. Mia grandfather read Mia diary and miss understand what was in. Mia grandfather called Raspberry mother and told her that hen took money from him. Then after that Raspberry mother was mad and throw all Raspberry money out the window. Raspberry was going crazy because all her hard money was out the window. A few minder things happen after that. When Raspberry gets home her TV, couch, microwave and money is all gone(150 pg.) Raspberry mother could not take it no more so she went back to the street. Raspberry is going to get pay back at the people that took her stuff. Hope nothing bad happens.

Prompt: Me and Raspberry don't have a lot of things in common but we do have something. Raspberry got her this taken from her house and the same things happen to me before. But for me they took my laptop, $5000 worth of sliver, speaker, and a lot more.

Title: Money Hungry

Summary: I just started reading Money Hungry at first I thought that it was going to be about a girl needed money for something but it came out to be something different. So far in my book the main character is Raspberry Hill and the story is told from her point of view, she also has a lot of friends in the book and she will do anything for money. One of Raspberry best friend is Zora Mitchell and maybe her father is going to go out with Raspberry mom. In the book Raspberry used to live in the steert with her mom because they got kick out their house(pg. 22). Also Raspberry sells a lot of thing in school to make money, she will do anything to get her hands on it(pg. 18). One qustion that I had as the deep thinker was "How would you feel if someone is making fun of you because you live in the steert? When I started reading the book I didn't know the word Raggedy but now I know that it means having been torn and worn excessively. I think that it ok to love money but when you will go anything to get your hands on it that just sad(pg. 1). Raspberry is not poulaor but she has a lot of friend; Ja'nae is one of her friend and she is short and fat, Mai is another on of her friend and she is also short and people pick a lot on her because of some reason.

Prompt:How does your independent reading book compare to your book club reading book?

Both book are about teenageur with trouble in there life's. But the book are way different they almost of nothing in common. They are different because in Scorpions it about gun, gangs, and crack. But in Money Hungry it about a girl trying to making money because she never want to be poor for one day in her life. I didn't notice but in both book they have to get money for some reason.

Book Club book: Scorpions
Pgs: 162-216

Summary: So far in my book a lot of exetureme things happen in my book so far. Somebody died, two people got shoot, and someone got send back to their country. Randy got stab in jail because Idiana wants to take over the gang. Jamel was the leader of the gang but he wanted to drop it because he couldn't take the peruse in his life. After everything happen Mark told everybody that he was the one that shoot Idiana so Jamel didn't get in trouble. Also Tito grand mom send him to P.R. to live with his father.

Opinion: That was sad that Tito had to go back to his father in P.R. but his grandmom found a gun in the house, she could not take it anymore founding a gun in the house is a big thing. Jamel brother never got out of jail and in the book they never said his mother name.

Book Club book: Scorpions
Pgs: 88-162

Summary: So far in my book a lot of things happen. But I'm only going to tell you the important parts. Jamel got into a fight with a bully(Dwayne) in school. Remember the gun from before, he used it in the fight. Jamel had the gun in Dwayne face because he was losing the fight, so he held the gun in the face and just starting hitting him a lot. Dwayne didn't going nothing back because he was to afraid. So after that Jamel ran alway, he just left after the fight....... Jamel give the gun to Tito for he can hide it. Tito hind it in the refergorater and his grandmom founded it. Tito got kick out the house and didn't know what to do.

Opinion: I think Jamel is not that smart because 1st he took a gun to school, 2nd he used the gun in school, and 3rd he fired the gun in a park. Jamel just shouldn't have taken the gun from Mark(his brother best friend) in the first place. If he didn't take the gun from Mark maybe none of the things that happen to him would not happen.

Prompt: My 3rd book club meeting was the 1st that went good but we didn't have a lot of time to talk. One question that the deep thinker had was "Do you think Jamel is smart, or do he just have to get his life together." That question made people in my group think of the dum thing that they do in school. The best thing that happen thing week was that jamel is going to do something bad but i don't know what it is.

Book Club book: Scorpions
Pgs: 37-50

Summary:
So far in the book something really funny happen, Jamel got pimp-slapped by a pimp because he was try to defend Tito(one of his friends). Tito was laying on the pimps chine(his car in other words) so the pimped pushed him. After that a lot more happen but the most important was that Jamel is trying to make money to get his brother out of jail. So Jamel meet up with Mark(a friend of Ranny), Mark is the war-lord of the Scorpions gangs he is trying to make Jamel the Head of the gang for they can make money to get his brother out of jail. Jamel has to meet up with Mark again, ask time they meet he said "I'm going to bring the stuff". Jamel thinks that the STUFF is a gun but he don't know what the gun is for. Later on Jamel go's to Tito house. They were talking about how they are going to make $2000 to get his Ranny out of jail. Jamel said that he waited to get a job to help his mom out.

Opinion:
It's sad that Ranny went to jail for killing a man, but in jail he can't get hurt; I hope that he don't get hurt. If Jamel gets a job he can help his mom. What Jamel doing is go but why did he take that gun from Mark. If someone give me a gun I wouldn't even take it from them. I would just drop it on the floor not like him. How he tooked a gun to school, if they find him with that he would be in big trouble they maybe will out him in jail or take him away from his mom. So his mom would have lost to childs if they found him with the gun.

Prompt:
What do you think is going to happen in next weeks reading?My first book club meeting went bad at first but then it turn around and we starting talking about what we need to talk. We were talking about Jamel was going to keep the gun and shoot somebody. But I agreed with Kevon when he said it was funny with Jamel got pimped slap. I also areed with Enmaanuel when he said that the book is like things that happen in everyday life. I didn't agreed with any thing that Dedra because that day she didn't read the book. I think next next week Jamel is going to do something bad and get in big trouble because the gun.

Book Club book: Scorpions
Pgs:1-37

Summary: The book im reading is about a poor family that lives in New York. In the book Jamal has a little sister an mother and an brother that is in jail. So far Jamal olny have one friend in school and his name is Tito. Jamal mom told him to go meet Mark, Mark is a friend of Jamal friends that is in jail. When he went to meet Mark it was a crack house(pg36). That is all that happen so far, but sometime the author leave you with out knowing what is going to happen next so that make you keep on reading.

Opinion: I feel that the book is deep. It make me think about all the kids and bum that are in the world. It sad that his brother is in jail but it be sad if he go's to jail to. But if Jamal start selling crack I think he is going to go to jail, if you are killing someone else with what you sell you should go to jail. It also sad that the gang his brother was in (scorpions) want him to join. If I had to recommend someone to read the book I would recommend them because this book make you think about the world.

Prompt:How do you feel about this new unit of Study? How did your book Club group perform this week? What role did you get the chance to play this week and how did that go for you? Tell me at least two new words that you learned this week as you read your book.
I feel that this unit of study is cool because we read and then we blog about what we read. This week my group has be good but sometimes we act up. This week I only done two role in book clubs I have been deep thinker and the historian. When I was the deep thinker I understander the job that i had to do, as a historian it was easier because all i had to do was write was big invents happen in the book. This week I learned the word heavyset means with a compact and powerful-looking build; I also learn the word addle means to make something rotten or spoiled.

Post#10 Math Test Reflection

The math test was so easy i felt like i rocked its world. One of my teacher said that maybe I got a 4 on my test that was how good I did. If I did get a 4 maybe I would be in a good highschool.

Post #11 Bowling Trip

But on the way there we went of the 4 train, walking to the train it was like everybody was walking by their self the teacher were all the way in the front or all the way in the back there was a big gap where all the kids were walking.
The bowling trip was fun. But something bad happen when i was there. The bad thing that happen was that i was getting to many gutter balls. I had like 5 out 0f 10 balls go in the gutter. But after everything happen it was fun, my score was like 208 that is real sad.
After bowling we went to MD's i had money but i didn't buy a lot of things. Next i went outside to eat and people were getting lite. When they was getting lite they was trying to call our school out. So we showed 390 what 339 could do. So in all we bet their school in dancing and in basketball.

When I fisrt start blogging I didnt know what to write about but atfer i started doing it I was good at it. The best part about blogging is that you can pick what you want to write about and it online thats cool. The worst part about blogging was finding an aritc online to write about. From this uint I learned how to use a laptop better and I also learned new things. I learn how to upload photos and but hyperlinks in blog. At the end of the uint i felt like i could do everthing good in blogger I feel great about blogging a I know how to do it.

Article Used: Baseball


Summary: All the article really say is the baseball is a sport that is played with 9 players on the field. The players hit the ball and then run around the bases. It also say the baseball has 9 inning. Baseball is played in North America, Central America, parts of South America and the Caribbean, and parts of East Asia and Southeast Asia, that is where they play baseball the most.


Opinion:Everybody knows how baseball is played show why do the make a website like that. But if you didnt know how to play baseball the site can tell you how to play. But if you are not good at baseball the website cant help you. Sorry.

The Dominican Republic won't be in the 2009 World Baseball Classic. Unless the Latin American nation that is home to a plethora of Major League stars is considered as one of the venues. They said if they don't receive any of the phases they wont play. There is going to be a conference in Orlando about the game.

I dont know why they are going to do that because it good if Dominican Republic play in the USA. They would make a lot of money if they play together people from all over the world would come to see the game. Baseball is a world wide sport and everybody can play it together.

Questions:
1. Why dont they play together.
2. What is going to happen in the conference in Orlando.
3. Is the game going to be play without Dominican Republic

Today I read about the new Yankee stadium. It say that the new stadium cost 1.3billion in the making, but I think thats it going to make a lot of money in the next years or so. Just north of the existing stadium, between 161st and 164th Streets, and between Jerome and River Avenues. It will be done in 2009. At least thats whats everybody thinks. I hope that the yankees stay undefeated in their new stadium. At least for 7 games.

Construction began on Aug.17.2006. Dimensions and Fences are the Same as old Yankee Stadium.The New Yankees ballpark has47,000 seat.

I think that the author purpose is to inform people about the new Yankee stadium. It tells them when it going to make out, who made it, what is it for, where it is now, and why it is so much money.

9th inning

9th inning bases loaded 2 outs 2 strike 3 balls and lossing the game by 3 what do you. I would do the same thing that the yankeesdid on 04/13/2007. Hit the ball out the park like the Yankees did. That was one of the best thing they did in years.

In all the times i since baseball this is the 1st time that I saw that. It was so cool.

Caribbean series Winners

Ramon Ortiz did 5 good inning in the Caribbean series final game. He was MVP for the game. Licey won the game 8-2 what a good.

Wow the won the game. Everyone know they was going to win but how do u lose a game to Mexico. That was not very smart it be cool if the won the series with not one game lost. But that be cool if it happen. Will it didnt happen and I know that people in DR are going crazy because they won. To bad that PR wasnt there becasue they were going to but there butt kick.

Caribbean Series

In the article I went to it stated that the Licey won the game last night 2-1. So far they didnt lose one game in the one game in the Caribbean Series thats a record on 4-0.

I think that the licey are always going to be the best. 4 games to 0 in the Caribbean Series is good. This is just the beginning at least I hope. I think that they can win everything if they put there minds on them.

i predict that Cruz is going to be MVP for the game because last night he made that good out. I wish they keep this up. i hope that they win the Caribbean Series.

In both artic they talk about how Marlins in Puerto Rico. They both talk about that they there are nothing selling tickets for the late-July series because the game with the mets are not going to be in san juan it going to be in Miami.

On mlb.com it say the you can get tickets on floridamarlins.com. But on licey.com it say that they are not selling any tickets maybe on mlb it more updated because its in USA.

The game is going to be on July 28-2008

Super bowl XLII

Last night it was one of the hardest games in the Super bowl XLII. First quarter game was 3,O giants winning. Next quarter game was 3,7 now giants fans were going crazy. The games stayed like that until the 4th quarter. on the 4th quarter the game got hot. This is where the action happen. NE had 14 when the giants had 3 next. They got the ball and made a touchdown now game 10,14. NE made a fun bowl Giants scored that 10 points. The NE had 1sec on the game cloak so the ball was given to the giant and they won the super with the last touchdown. Manny was MVP. Will i think Manny did a good as hell filed goal. I think 43 feet was good.

808 is the best in the south bronx
